CGS 1st Annual 5K Run / Walk-A-Thon

On Saturday, November 12, 2011, CGS will host its first annual 5K Run / Walk-A-Thon. “Come, Run or Walk and Celebrate Your Ancestral Legacy” at Jetton Park, 19000 Jetton Rd, Cornelius, NC. Registration starts at 9am (please arrive early). The event starts at 10am. Join Comprehensive Genealogical Services (CGS) for the 1st Annual 5K Run/Walk to support our ancestral legacy in Mecklenburg County. Funds raised go to continuing providing genealogical programs and services to individuals, families and community groups.

Entry Fees: $25 pre-event registration ($30 event-day registration) and $5 pre-registration for children ($10 on event-day). Please make checks payable to - Comprehensive Genealogical Service. To Pay by check or credit card, or to make a donation, mail the completed form to the address below.

Audience

Bring the Whole Family: This is a great activity for the entire family. All ages are encouraged to participate. For the safety of our runners, we do not permit bikes, roller blades and animals on the course. Ask your extended family, friends, and co-workers to participate in this inaugural event.
